SMALL BUSINESSES

Hear from disaster-impacted small businesses on what they need to minimize and recover from disaster impacts. Many small businesses are the lifeblood of a community–and at the heart of recovery.

THE PRO PLAN

Learn about The Plan for a Resilient Oregon (PRO)– a people-centered strategy to help Oregonians anticipate, withstand, adapt, and recover from natural hazards–and celebrate with the 51 statewide peer community-led organizations working collaboratively to steer it.

COMMUNITY LAND TRUSTS

Revisit Community Land Trust models that are reimagining land stewardship, development, resource flows, wealth building, and long-term community stabilization.

FOOD SYSTEMS

Dive into Oregon’s food systems, emerging and existing networks, and how organizations and systems can work together to meet growing food security needs before, during, and after disaster strikes.

ART & STORYTELLING

Explore the role of traditional art & storytelling in placemaking, trust-building, and cultural identity, and how these bonds are essential to healing and strengthening communities through the entire disaster lifecycle. Enjoy interactive activities and demonstrations throughout the Summit.

TECHNOLOGY & AI

Learn about the explosive use of AI in resilience and response–what needs harnessing and what can run wild (within reason!)– as well as other emerging technologies supporting our communities across the disaster lifecycle.

The Summit will provide Spanish-language printed materials and live interpretation with equipment donated by Unite Oregon–thank you!
