About Cris

Cris Saldivar is a community organizer with Together Lab, where she works alongside youth and adult leaders across East Multnomah County to build communities rooted in belonging, relationship, youth leadership, and collective care. She is a co-founder of Mt. Hood Unida, a Latiné-led organization creating intergenerational spaces for connection, culture, and community resilience. Cris also supports the Leaven Community and Salt & Light Lutheran Church, supporting spaces where people can explore spirituality, embodied wisdom, joy, and connection.

Across her work, Cris is passionate about cultivating intergenerational belonging, strengthening people’s relationships to one another and to the places they call home, and creating spaces where people feel noticed, named, and known. Her work centers the belief that resilience grows through relationship, cultural connection, spiritual practice, and collective care and that communities become stronger when people of all ages have opportunities to belong, lead, play, and shape the future together.
