Sobre Jim
Jim Cupples is a Regional Food Systems Coordinator with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, where he leads supply chain coordination projects focused on strengthening Oregon’s food and agricultural infrastructure. His work includes developing regional food and agriculture business centers, coordinating across state agencies and local partners, and improving how infrastructure and transportation data can be used to support emergency preparedness and economic resilience.
Before joining ODA, Jim worked on economic recovery, broadband infrastructure, agricultural technology, and rural development projects across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. He holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon.
