Gen Schaack

Gen Schaack has a background in nonprofit work in areas of education, food systems and access, and social and ecological resiliency. She is passionate about increasing the capacity of local food producers to help alleviate hunger in our community while promoting sustainable land management practices. She graduated from the University of Oregon with undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Fine Arts, and holds a Masters of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management. Having moved to the area at 20 years old from Chicago, Gen remains awed by the beauty of our wild and working lands.
