SUMMIT ACTIVITIES
Button Bar
a project of Rogue Valley COAD & Talent Maker City
from our partners: “Featuring questionable humor and heartfelt messages. Pick your favorite, and they’ll press it. Are you feeling too resilient…or not resilient enough? It’s fine…they have a button for that.”
Cross Sector Cruise
Passports Required!
All aboard! Grab your passport and set sail. Cruise the rooms to find new networks and connections across an array of sectors and focus areas. Don’t forget to get your passport stamped!
Resource Matchmaking
Hang Your “Needs” and “Haves” on the Resource Line
Let’s work together to build lasting connections through resource-sharing. Come prepared to share your resilience needs and haves by hanging them on a “Resource Line” at the event. Funding is a need we all surely share, but what other tangible and intangible resources can we exchange? Materials, equipment, information, expertise, volunteers, and more–pin them all on the Resource Line and match with your newest partners in resilience.
Plant Jam
Inspired by Equitable Giving Circle (Portland-based nonprofit)
To be in community is a constant act of both giving and receiving, and the Plant Jam helps us embody this practice! We invite you to accept a new plant and think about how it feels to receive–what comes up for you? Is it delightful? Is it unfamiliar? Through this activity, participants can reflect on how to bring the spirit of giving and receiving into their personal and professional lives. Who is giving, who is receiving?
For the survivors amongst us–we’re with you as you plant the seeds and take root for a new day.
Summit Bingo
Gather (serious and silly) Summit experiences throughout the event to win prizes!
